Dias da Dança, often abbreviated as DDD, is a contemporary dance festival held in Porto, Matosinhos and Gaia. It’s an annual event that celebrates dance in its various forms, showcasing both national and international talent. The festival typically features a diverse program of performances, including dance shows, workshops, masterclasses, and discussions.
One of the highlights of Dias da Dança is its emphasis on contemporary dance, which includes a wide range of styles and approaches, from classical to experimental. The festival provides a platform for emerging choreographers and dancers to present their work to a wider audience, as well as an opportunity for established artists to share their expertise and creativity.

In the year that marks the 50th anniversary of the Revolution of 25th of April, the DDD joins the event to celebrate freedom. The 8th edition of DDD will take place from April 23rd to May 5th, in various spaces and in total there will be 27 shows, in a total of 44 performances, with 29 national and international artists on 17 stages spread across the three municipalities.
